Mr. Ghulam Farooq is a seasoned finance professional and strategic leader with over 35 years of experƟse spanning accounts, finance, taxaƟon, compliance, and audit. A Commerce graduate from Karachi University (1987) and a Chartered Accountancy finalist (1996), he began his career at Faruq Ali & Co., Chartered Accountants, before moving to leading firms such as DeloiƩe Yousuf Adil. TransiƟoning to the corporate sector in 1995, he took on key financial leadership roles at Dawood Yamaha, Gatron Group, and United Mobile Group. For over two decades, Mr. Farooq served as Group Director Finance and Company Secretary at Ismail Industries (CandyLand Group), where he played a pivotal role in financial strategy, corporate governance, and internal audit. An esteemed mentor and faculty member at the InsƟtute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan, he is deeply commiƩed to nurturing future industry leaders.
