Al Shaheer Farms will be an integral part of our company’s plan to vertically integrate its supply chain. Our vision is to establish Pakistan's first corporate sector beef fattening farm along modern lines, fattening 4000 cattle heads each year.

OUR FARMS

Our feedlot fattening farm is an intensive feeding operation where we shall raise animals for beef production. The cattle will be sourced traditional means: either by a livestock trader, or purchased directly from the farmer. We envision this to be Pakistan’s first state of the art feedlot farm, employing technology and best practices in animal handling to turn over 4000 cattle heads each year.

Once the animal is fattened, also called the finished cattle, it will be sent to the abattoir for slaughter, for subsequent sale to either the local or export markets.

It is expected that with this feedlot, Al-Shaheer will be able to get meat producing animals of adequate size, required for specialized cuts. Employment for the local community will be created in the feedlot and additional jobs would also be created at the retail level. Simultaneously, livestock farmers in the surrounding areas will have access to a more consistent buyer, offering better prices compared to open market sales. On the other hand, Al-Shaheer will also source various types of commodities, such as maize, rice polish, molasses at the feedlot. These commodities will have to be procured from the local community, thereby creating a market for these products.
